Job Description of WATEEN TELECOM LTD as Resident Network Engineer - Brief description of role & responsibility.

Currently, I am serving as a technical resource for Bank Alfalah Ltd. Core Network. The network is comprised of Cisco 7600 Series, Cisco ASR 1000 Series Cisco ISR 2800 Series, Cisco 1800 Series, Cisco 2900 Series, Catalyst 3560, Catalyst 3750, Juniper Firewalls and Huawei Routers.

The routing protocols include BGP for underlay and OSPF for overlay routing. My duties include;

Configuring BGP, OSPF and Static Routing on routers for branches connectivity with the Bank Alfalah Core network

Configuration change level Access on Core routers and Branch routers.

Configuration check, media connectivity issues, encryption verification & troubleshoot crypto problems, OSPF, BGP neighbor ship status, troubleshoot routing issues, troubleshoot switching/LAN related issues, network latency problems etc.

BAF Network Diagram Update. Network Security relating troubleshooting, Follow-up with Vendors and rectify of all type of incidents / problems/ Tickets, also supporting in expansion Plan / any activity in Datacenter including Cabling / Configurations.
