Director Global Operations, Rain International. 2014 – 2016

• Responsible for Rain’s global supply chain. From sourcing raw materials for the company’s products, packaging, and marketing tools to delivering the finished goods to our global customers.

• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, and carriers.

• Develop logistics strategies and processes for entering new markets on a global basis. Rain International opened 8 new markets in 2016 (Colombia, Mexico, Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong, Vietnam).

• Evaluate trade-offs between transportation costs, inventory costs, and service levels.

• Work closely with our third party manufacturers, marketing team, finance, and the legal team to create timely, cost-effective import/export supply chains.

Sr. Director Operations, Agel Enterprises LLC. 2007- 2013

• Oversaw the day-to-day operations, including global supply chain, warehousing and distribution, purchasing, regulatory compliance, all third party manufacturers.

• Led the effort to turn underachieving markets based on negative P&L in to a new model showing positive results.

• Opened Distribution Centers in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Indonesia, Russia, Iceland, South Africa, Colombia, Brazil, and Japan.

• Managed 21 DCs worldwide, supplying 62 global markets.

• Collaborated with the COO and managing director of global supply chain to shorten lead-times and carry less inventory in a new global distribution model.

• Full purchase responsibility for all office supplies, material handling equipment, and anything relating to the Operations department and distribution centers.

• Oversaw Quality Assurance department and its compliance with QA policies and procedures.

• Worked closely with third party manufactures concerning raw materials, production, forecasting, logistics, purchase orders and budget.
