Supervise a crew of union personnel consisting of electricians, machine repairman, and pipefitters
Schedule daily work activities according to production priorities, for over 1000 machine tools and over 5 million square feet of property. Machine tools included robots, presses, NC Gantry mills, lathes, drills, HVAC, chillers, welders, many other types of machine tools and facilities equipment. Oversee day to day activity for the boiler operations, cooling towers, air compressors, dryers, etc.
Order new and load software
Schedule and record all IBEW and IAM overtime and keep within guidelines of the contract for all maintenance and facilities personnel.
Order all parts repair items and crib items and maintain parts inventory. Set min/max inventory levels.
Monitor budget for cost savings to the company, and maintain a budget that consists of spare parts and overtime.
