Strong mechanical skills along with initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Great knowledge of schematics and basic principles of mechanics.
Excellent observation skill.
Strong ability to locating information.
Deep knowledge of basic and advanced thermoplastic injection molding.
Excellent knowledge of injection molding processes.
Uncommon ability to understand hydraulic circuits as applied to injection molding machines.

Material Handler, Mold Setup, Lead Mold Setup, and Technician
Pull and set injection molds, setup processes, troubleshoot machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment, machine maintenance.
Verify correct set-up of molds, presses and auxiliary equipment before machine start up.
Set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including granulators, conveyors, liquid temperature controls, and mold electrical controls.
Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Make repairs to machines and equipment and notify proper personnel per plant procedure. Change pumps, pull screws, change tie bars, check pressures, change ram packings, repair hydraulic leaks
Maintain records and prepare legible reports, including SPC reports, QC inspection reports, housekeeping checklists, mold cavity data sheets, production downtime reports, cycle time sheets and problem/corrective action logs, etc. accordance with departmental standards and Quality System Standards.
Responsible for the regular and periodic monitoring of product for acceptable quality to the most recent specification.
Work with limited supervision and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation among and between shifts, mold repair shop, quality control, and management to facilitate departmental goals.
Training of new and other mold setups.
Injection molding experience: Cincinnati Milcron Hydroramp Vel, Van Dorn, Toshiba, Nissei, Netsal, Husky, Sumitomo, Toyo.
Education & Training-High School Diploma, Commerce School, Commerce, Texas. Machine Validation, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Injection Molding, Safety and Hazards. Paris Junior College Certification in Mechatronics-Electromechanical Technician, Associate of Applied Science in the Electromechanical Technology
