Project Management / Product Support dealing with the Unit Rig line of electric drive trucks. This included working with worldwide dealers planning projects and onsite supervision of 7 – 10 mechanics, technicians and welders. 60% of job spent in remote areas, providing daily field reports back to engineering and plant to report and resolve issues, implementing changes as needed to improve quality of product. Worked closely with customers and dealers to ensure testing and final commissioning of trucks met company standards. Provided training to operators and support personnel.

Key Achievements:

Most recent assignment was project manager of a $50M 11 truck build of Unit Rig MT3700DC trucks in North Africa for OCP mining working with Tractafric Equipment. Trucks were completed in an average of 7 days per truck (Average truck build is 21 days per truck). This resulted in direct savings to the dealer and increased production to the mine.

The OCP project provided over $10M in direct OPACC benefit to Caterpillar for 2016 and is the top OPACC job this year.

Led 6 CPI projects per year working with teams built of engineers and plant specialists to resolve issues dealing with manufacturing and production.

Led issue resolution calls with sites around the world including Russia, Brazil, and various countries in Africa.
