SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Served over seven (7) years as Office Manager and Administrative Officer for the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Support Team (NST).

Managed personnel actions, taskers, travel arrangements, budgets, protocol functions, corporate calendars, and most all corporate-level office functions; coordinated with corporate customers and partners.

Served over three (3) years as Personnel Security Manager, most recently for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter program, ensuring all Air Force military and civilian employees met all security requirements.

Served 26 years of service in the United States Air Force (USAF) in the Communications-Computer Systems (C-CS) field operating and maintaining networks, data, and voice systems.

Directly supervised as many as 70 people at a time, and managed countless programs in both fixed-base and stressful deployed environments.

Managed and controlled information system resources of 60-plus servers, 3500 workstations and over 4500 users. This included configuring and monitoring hardware and software for operation, processing and control data flow, and client-server multi-user system support including network management and administration, all while maintaining network uptime of over 98% for user access.

Managed and maintained the $22 million Minot Air Force Base network. Conducted site surveys to determine customer needs. Identified areas of operation that required equipment or software upgrades.

Supervised more than 70 persons; determined and coordinated employee training needs. Prepared operating budgets.

1999 – 2000 5th Communications Squadron Minot AFB, ND

Superintendent, Information Systems Flight

Performed as the Flight Commander’s “right hand man” for a department having 75-plus persons. Managed every aspect of the department, to include the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program, personnel training, performance reporting, budgets, facility maintenance, task accomplishment, and deployment and contingency planning.

Base Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager; Superintendent, Systems Security

Handled over 34,000 classified documents annually without incident; trained all users of the material.
