Started an incubator and consultancy firm in the interim during career search for the right executive position. StartNewCo provides business strategies, business planning, sales and marketing deployments for startups.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing-LocateSmarter (a subsidiary of CBE companies), Cedar Falls, I.A. ; 2014-2016.

Responsible for developing and managing the sales and marketing team for an internal entrepreneur start up software company owned by CBE companies. Developed 18 direct reports from hiring, development to ongoing management of the team. Products included consumer phone data solutions and other consumer data services. Providing products for the markets of debt collection and account receivable management verticals. Spear headed the launch and management of the companies market penetration through contact marketing, sales strategies that included transactional sales and “Whale Hunting” major account sales. Was key in leading the team to close major Industry players in the debt collection vertical of the likes of DCI, PRA, Convergent, and EOS CCA to name a few.

Adjunct Professor-University of South Dakota, Vermillion, S.D.; 2010-2014. Teaching an upper class course on Internet Marketing at the University of South Dakota. This course is designed to introduce, review, evaluate and understand the following keys components of Internet marketing, SEO (search engine optimization), CRO (conversion rate optimization), and social media. All of these components are independent but inseparable to be successful in Internet Marketing. The course drills into the necessary skills and activities that are needed for Internet Marketing.

Consultant-CSI Medical; Sioux City, I.A.; 2011 to 2013 Was hired as a consultant to evaluate their operations, sales, and marketing processes. I implemented a sales and marketing plan that included Internet marketing, and social media campaigns. In addition I hired, trained (5) additional Sales Account Executives. I delivered a funding prospectus for potential investors. Developed and managed their new business development strategy into targeted US cities. Products and solutions included IT services, managing services, hardware, and EMR software solutions: HIS, EMR, and PACs/RIS enterprise level system deployments.

President and Partner of LandMark ASP Solutions; Sioux City, I.A.; 2005 to 2011, LandMark ASP Solutions is an e- learning solutions software company, in which I developed key relationships with companies like TGIF, Advanced Auto, Ciba Vision, Gelita International, Affiliated Foods, Shop Rite, Rio Tinto, and many other small, medium and large companies. I spear headed the development of two start up software developments and deployments for LandMark: Liquid Video, and Liquid Authoring.

CEO and Partner-Owner, Revonet Sales and Marketing, inc; Sioux Falls, S.D.; 2000- 2005 Original owner and CEO of a high technology sales and marketing call center that achieved growths of over 10 million dollars as a private company. Establishing key partnerships in the likes of Microsoft, Verizon, Web MD, and other high technology companies. In 2005 sold my partnership ownership to the primary investor group. Manage a team of over 200 staff in our Sioux Falls facility.

CEO and Owner, Living X Mountain Bikes, inc; Vermillion, S.D.;-1995-2000. Sole owner and CEO of the first direct market consumer bicycle company. The company manufactured and marketed mountain bikes, road bikes and other extreme sports equipment. Achieving numerous awards from prominent Bicycle magazines.

President, Seanix USA: Sioux City, IA.; 1998-2000. As President of the USA division, successfully led this Canadian PC based company into the USA PC market. In the first year of operation was awarded the best of small business PC’s and the first ever sub-$1000 PC at the Comdex computer show. In 2000 Seanix Canada dissolved its USA direct model and focused on the original Canadian reseller distributor model. We grow to a staff of over 400 employees with 18 reporting directing to me.

EVP of Sales and Marketing, Power Computing; Austin, TX.; 1995-1998 Executive in charge of worldwide sales and marketing, achieving initial hyper growths of 400 million dollars in revenue in the second year of business. Managed a team of over 700 sales and customer service personnel. Dissolved when CEO; Steve Jobs of Apple purchased the Apple clone license back. Global EVP of Sales and Marketing, Gateway Computers; North Sioux City, S.D.; 1988- 1995 Original executive in charge of Worldwide Sales, Customer Service and Marketing, igniting growths of initial revenues of 1 million a year to a 3.5 billion dollar high technology PC power house. Re-known for my initial contribution to the direct sales PC business model. Managed a large team of sales and customer personnel. Was the 8th employee for this start up venture that resulted into one of the key direct PC marketers in its time.
