General Manager- Nisela Farm Swaziland (Feb 2013- October 2014)

-Coordinating the daily farming operations of the four farms with a total area under cane of 2400h and the Banana farm totalling 113h.

-Managing all the 4 cane farming operations and the banana operation through the farm managers. The company produces sugarcane on a yearly basis on average of 115Tonnes/h and classified under the large scale farming operation in the mill group.

-Also grow some cash crops including cereals and legumes.

ABOUT ME:

Having worked for a long time in the sugar industry, one has acquired a voluminous experience in the general cane husbandry. That may involve all the operations from bush clearing to harvesting. My main involvement has been in the following operations; Land survey, design and layout of irrigation systems, systems evaluation and the general installation of irrigation systems. My involvement is also on the training and development of fellow employees and subordinates.
