On-going duties include the following: Monitoring of job queues specifically related to PSA processing to detect and repair issues that could cause system backups. Monitoring of Active jobs on System I to detect any record locks or abnormal interruptions of jobs related to PSA processing. Also, provide routine maintenance and new development of programs, queries, and Excel spreadsheets that are an extension or interface to the INFOR XA system that runs the business.

Application Developer / Jr. Systems Analyst: Member of the Data Migration

Team. This team was responsible for the extraction of data from the company’s legacy systems for eventual input into the new SAP system. My role on the Data Team was the primary person responsible for gathering Material data, Bill of Material data, Routing data, Open A/P data, Open A/R data, G/L Trial Balance data, and various other Manufacturing data. Prior to Data Migration Team duties, I served as a member of the Application Project Team. Main duties with Project Team consisted of project design, development, testing, training, and implementation. Previous to Project Team duties, I was a member of the Application Systems Support Team. Duties associated with this position included fielding service calls from the IT help desk. These calls would result in on-going maintenance and development to support the company’s in-house legacy systems as well as their purchased ERP software (PRMS). All user requests were logged and work was assigned based on priorities. Also, as part of Support Team, participated on a weekly basis as part of the call out rotation for after office hours support. Other duty while member of both Project & Support Teams was as FastFax coordinator. Fastfax was used to fax and e-mail reports both to internal and external customers.

Sr. Programmer/Analyst: Recent duties involved the coding of data load and

conversion programs to assist in the migration of the company’s legacy ERP system over to SAP; this included mapping data into SAP idocs. Another more recent project was the design of a system to establish Finished Goods Inventory via the scanning of bar code labels with a RF (wireless) scanning gun. Main duties include the on-going support of the company’s enterprise system, bar code label design, as well as EDI coordinator responsibilities. Support of the enterprise system encompasses various business components such as MRP, Inventory Control, Sales Order Processing, Shipping, Purchasing, Standard Cost, G/L, A/P, and A/R. EDI tasks involve setting up and maintaining trading partner relationships with customers. This is accomplished within the company’s EDI software along with interaction with several Van’s & customer EDI counterparts.
