WORK EXPERIENCE

1998 to Present – Gateway Electric, Inc., Huntington Beach

The last 2 years I've been the maintenance electrician at the old Queen of Angels Hospital and Angelus Temple properties. This includes 5 apartment buildings, a mega church building, broadcast and studio facilities, and a 7 story parking structure. My responsibilities included estimating, managing working capital, scheduling employees and Subs, ordering material and gear, dealing with General Contractors, Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, School District Inspectors, State School Inspectors and City Inspectors. Also meeting deadlines to avoid Liquidated Damages. Other responsibilities included bringing in or winning 100% of all work and making all business connections. Also ensuring profitability for the Company.

As the sole shareholder of of Gateway Electric, Inc. EVERYTHING was my responsibility.

I have performed various public school jobs and private commercial jobs. Some of my jobs included:

1)Security lighting at 9 schools for Long Beach Unified.

2)7 bungalows at 3 schools for ABCUSD.

3)Changing out the service for Cubberley Elementary (Long Beach USD). This included working with the City of Long Beach to coordinate the trenching of approximately 1000' of public of public street in order to bring in 3-phase power to replace the old single-phase. We also set an underground pull box for Edison, a 1600 amp switch and MSB, 7 other stand up distribution section and 5 transformers.

4)Long Beach City College – Started out with 13,000 volts, set switch and transformer. Transformed to usable voltage, set 3 distribution panels and (25) 30' steel light poles throughout the Horticulture area.

5)8 Science bungalows for Torrance USD.

6)Various insurance repair jobs for restoration companies including commercial and residential.

7)Building and maintaining Cellular sites for Sprint/Nextel and T-mobile.

8)Relocated West Coast Choppers from Paramount to Long Beach and got all permits finalled. It is basically a machine shop. This entailed installing (8) welders, (3) HAAS CNC machines, building a metal polishing room with (4) 5hp polishing motors, Installed air compressor and air lines throughout the interior, (1) Lathe, (2) Mills, various metal fabricating machines, (8) belt sanders, (1) Disk sander, (1) steel pipe bending machine, Lighting throughout.

9)I was the maintenance electrician at Superior Electrical Advertising, which included every type of metal and plastic bending, cutting, and routing equipment imaginable.

As a General Contractor my company built a house for a restoration company in Upland, a cafe' in Chino and room additions all over L.A. And Orange Counties.

These are just the some of the most recent jobs I have recently bid, won completed on time and profited from. I also had various subs to perform related portions of each contract.

1/92-6/98 – RJS Electric, Santa Clarita – Lead Man. Foreman: Todd Moberly 562-***-****

Provided mostly underground and site prep for bungalows. Once the bungalows arrived we installed exterior and interior box and conduit, pull wire for power and provide pull strings for fire alarm, security, intercom and communication. We also added new services including underground Edison transformer vaults, main switches, and pad mounted distribution sections and transformers..

1989-1992 Weaver Electric, Fullerton – Ran a truck in the Service Department including scheduling and making sure the truck was supplied with tools and material.

1988-1989 Sunwest Electric, Anaheim – Started my career as an Apprentice building Fry's Electronic stores.
