Institute participants are taught how to lead multicultural, inclusive teams of professionals, work across silos and around barriers, and give their careers a boost by acquiring mentors, coordinating projects and expanding their professional networks. The Institute is an intensive onsite leadership program, featuring a preparatory web seminar and individual pre-assessments, hosted during the Aging in America Conference each spring. Participants attend custom-designed sessions that focus on cultural competency, as well as accelerated trainings to increase awareness of and to enhance their leadership styles. Participants also gain insights and learn best practices from visionaries, change makers and influencers in the field of aging.
