Part time after school and full time weekends and school holidays while in junior and senior high school

Started as a dishwasher and errand boy, and then took on assistant to the owner duties:

Set up meal preparation stations for customers to create their own meals. Regularly worked with owner to update “Monthly Menu Selections” with input as to which entrees the customers purchased most or requested

Swiped credit and debit cards and entered in required data to ensure proper payment to the business

Assistance with cooking parties, for groups such as the Boy Scouts and Brownies, as well as children’s birthday parties –gained recognition as the most requested leader for children’s parties

When Dinnersmith changed their business model to become a gourmet meal delivery service only:

Helped clean and pack all of the store supplies and put unneeded equipment on Craig’s list; E-bay and other sites to ensure quick and profitable sale. Updated face book, twitter and other social media generating sales (customers assumed the business had closed because of the newly emptied store front )

Took on extra catering and kitchen jobs offered by customers to help in preparation, serving and clean up at larger events in their homes

Accompanied staff on meal deliveries and did follow up e-mails and phone calls to make sure expectations were met with client families
