Professional Experience

Apprenticeship (Manufacturing) H.M Industries, Hyderabad –India May 2013-Oct 2013

Purchased material, supplies and processing hardware to keep all the things available for production.

Prepared item reports, examined and summarized majority of the data.

Administered bill for amounts and ordered every last one of obliged raw materials for the manufacturing of products for example, mechanical filters, dust collector filters, air washer system, wind stream units etc.

Weld Inspector (Intern) Global Steel Fabrication, Hyderabad-India Dec 2013-Aug 2014

Worked as part of weld quality assurance team as weld inspector.

Performed Magnetic particle testing and Ultrasonic testing to assure the quality of weld and to confirm the presence, location of weld in material.

Projects

Investigated the steady state cornering performance of a vehicle

Handling behavior of the vehicle was defined for the range of 0-0.5 g’s of lateral accelerations.

Steady state equilibrium conditions for lateral accelerations of the range was calculated.

Tire vertical forces, vehicle roll angle, front axle slip angle and rear axle slip angle at each level of g’s was determined.

Using lateral acceleration and slip angles understeer gradient was determined and the graphs were plotted to notice the behavior of the vehicle.

Research Project-Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad-India Nov 2012-April 2013

Testing of the material using the NDT (Non Destructive techniques)

Performed the Inspection of the material, weld parts using the appropriate method of testing from the general used NDT method like UT(ultrasonic test), PT (Penetrate test), MPT(Magnetic Particle Testing), RT(Radiographic test) and found the internal flaws, surface and subsurface discontinuities in the welds.

Calculated the length of the crack found in the weld parts which were inspected.

Determined the types of flaws relating to the metallurgical properties of the materials and welds.

Predicted the life of the material and weld parts by using the calculated data and flaws found.

Industrial Oriented Minor Project- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad-India

Overhauling of IC engines May2012-July 2012

Inspected various parts of the engine which was taken out of the car for overhauling.

Engine cylinders were bored and a sleeve was set in it and re-bore to bring back the required volume of the cylinder matching the standards.

Piston, piston rings were changed as the compression and the oil control ring were damaged

Crank shaft and Cam shaft were aligned.

Valve seats, oil pump, timing belt, oil seat etc. were serviced.

Everything was then aligned to company standards and the engine was tested.

Honors & Achievements

Secured II prize in paper-presentation on "Overview of the apache helicopter". Held in JNTUH

Certificate "A" for (NCC) exam held under the authority of Ministry Of Defense in India.

Recipient of merit scholarship from Government of India for outstanding academic performance and community involvement.

Campus Involvement and Activities

Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) -Detroit, MI Jan 2014-Present
