The main focus of the support team was to make sure Business/System SLAs are met with reduced cost and more effective. Infosys team did System Appreciation of the high complex/multi platform applications in 3months time frame and established 24 X 7 support using Global Delivery Model. In addition to this, the team was heavily engaged in first level Busyness Analyst support, major enhancements, development and testing interfaces for Retek based applications (RMS, RDW, RCOM, ReSA, etc.), and major projects to meet the evolving and expanding Business need. I have led the team during the various stages like System Appreciation, Transition, and Steady state. The major projects that were executed during the period include ‘Replenishment Can-Do’ initiatives, Inventory Reconciliations, Valued Cost reconciliation, replacing the Legacy WMS interfaces with Manhattan’s PKMS. Generated the revenue out of nothing to 4 million by year 2004. Total peak team strength – 14 onsite and 22 Offshore.

RMS package will allow NORDTROM to create and maintain their Purchase Orders, Merchandise price management and Inventory management. The RMS package replaces Legacy Purchase Order Management systems (POMR), Price change system, Book inventory (Stock Ledger) system and Merchandise transfer system. RDW is a data warehousing tool that will generate reports out of RMS data This project was designed to provide company performance dashboard to the senior executives of the organization, and is used as one of the key tools in the organization to make critical business decisions. I have led the modules responsible for Item and supplier conversion from the existing Legacy systems, interim PO interfaces to RMS.

This project is for building a Vendor Planning Application to provide the ability for Nordstrom planners to analyze their vendor/brand data and profits and be able to come up the best profit plans. The vendor/brands could be planned at department/store/event levels. The application would involve several interfaces to vendor planning, conversion of existing interfacing data, GUI screens for planners to analyze and enter plans
