Visual inspection of welds as per required code.

Reporting to QA/QC Senior Engineer. Plan and Coordinates inspection activities for various discipline inspectors at site and reports to the QC Manager on Quality Surveillance issues. Walk through the piping system within the coverage test package limits.

Check all installation all of piping components. In-line equipment and instruments in their respective location as shown in the p& ids & isometric drawings.

Prepare list unfinished works or unmatched item according to the isometric drawing and specification.

Responsible for reinstatement report after hydro test, check all piping and equipment been installed complete and ensure all complete report and record and prepare any as built drawing for any modification, prior to handed over for Pre Commissioning team.

WPS and WPQT qualification – witnessing destructive testing on PQR test coupons and evaluating for bend test, tensile test, and macro examinations. Also training welders before qualification for SMAW, GMAW, and SAW Process.

Piping-Witnessing and monitoring the required NDE has been covered as per the project specification.

Ensure that all equipment /tools for the test are adequate and calibrated and in good condition.

Monitoring the system while being pressurized up to the specified test pressure and held until all joints have been inspected for leak but in no case less than 30minutes.

Check location and range of pressure gauges and relief valve.

Follow ambient lay-up procedure after successful completion of test.

Prepare all documents for client and proponent acceptance.

Sound knowledge about the GRE/GRP piping.
