JOB SUMMARY

The post holder functions under the supervision of the team leader and charge nurse. Responsible of prenatal, intrapartum and postpartum nursing care to patient’s labor and delivery. Coordinates with OB Gyne doctors to ensure safe delivery form labor watch until patient will be shifted to postnatal area. The functions performed require judgement based upon the application of scientific knowledge and are guided by established philosophy and policies of HMG. Nursing and the unit.
