Modifies and sharpens tools for maximum work efficiency.

Studies and analyzes technical drawing before processing.

Maintain and secure tools needed in the production.

Use the simulation function of the IGF function to check the operation before running an NC program created using the IGF function to perform actual machining.

Never run a program created using the IGF function to perform actual machining without checking its operation. Run the program with no work piece and make sure that there is no interference, then cut a work piece in the single block mode. If no problems are discovered automatic operation may started.

Rotate the spindle to make sure that the work piece is securely clamped the chuck, before running a new program.

Apply allowable maximum amount of pressure to grip the work piece, because centrifugal force reduces the chuck gripping force.

Check the software limit for x- and z-axis of the locations, of limit switch dogs to prevent interference with the chuck or tail stock during operation.

Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and other measuring equipments.

Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

Check the maximum allowable spindle speed and stay with in the limit, if a chuck or fixture is unique to your application.

Recommend improvements on the area to promote safety and optimum machine efficiency.

Return all devices to their predetermined retraction, position.

Keep the vicinity of the machine clean and tidy.

Perform preventive maintenance in all related machines and equipments.

Follow Mold Making Section General Guidelines and machine shop basic safety rules and regulations.

Support and contribute the QIP program of the company.

Support the company’s quality and environment programs to ensures that the desired quality product is maintained at all times by implementing and maintaining the ISO 9002 and 14000.
