Clinical Care Coordinator
Coordinated and designed treatment for severely mentally ill population at Colorado Psychiatric Hospital in Denver. Acted as liaison between the managed care agency, the hospital and the patient’s families; provided family therapy, consulted with all collateral agencies including Department of Social Services, outpatient psychiatrists and clinicians, Social Security, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, probation and parole.

Represented Aurora Mental Health Center at various hospitals in Denver where their Medicaid and indigent patients were hospitalized (primarily Ft Logan), made treatment recommendations as a patient advocate and acted as a mediator between the hospital and the mental health center whenever disputes arose.
