Projects:
University of Bridgeport.
Stress analysis of wagon wheel under combined mechanical and thermal loads:
To reduce the magnitude of induced stresses, profile modification for the wheel was suggested.
The decrease in stress values will increase the service life of wheel and the load bearing capacity also increases.
Simulation of turbulent flow over the Ahmed car.
The aim of the project is to simulate unsteady turbine flow over the Ahmed Car using Ansys to predict drag coefficient and axial velocity for slant angle.
Visualized the mean and instantaneous flow fields and computed the non-dimensional shielding frequency.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
Fabrication of AL Silicon Carbide Alumina hybrid metal matrix composite:
Proved that the ultimate tensile strength, compressive strength and hardness of the composite is increased and density of the composite is decreased with increasing the weight percentage of the reinforcements
Achieved an increase in the tensile strength and hardness by amplifying the area fraction of reinforcement
Characterization of AL silicon carbide fly ash hybrid composite:
Studied the microstructures of the metal matrix composite, Analysed the metal matrix composite through stir casting
Observed that Aluminium silicon carbide fly ash composites are considered as an exceptional material in sectors where light weight and enhanced mechanical properties are essential
Development of power from foot step:
Usage of different gear mechanism in the power generation.
Conversion of the mechanical energy to the electric energy.
Usage of piezo electric effect using piezo electric sensors.
