Fund Administration Team at Invesco handles the various regulatory reporting and taxation tasks for the mutual funds of Invesco. The reporting activity for the Investment Companies Institute is done for different types of funds on a monthly and quarterly basis which is entirely done manually. The project aim was to automate the reporting process. Once done the reporting process involves only scheduling the date time and required fund codes in the business objects and the final outcome will be in an Excel spreadsheet as required by the ICI. The project involved in understanding the different reports that are to be considered for the reporting and understanding the criteria for additions and subtractions of the different Ledger balances.
