Industrial Area, Phase II, New Delhi (A Garment Exporter with a

turnover of more than Rs. 100 crores) as Sr.Merchandiser / PD head

since 2008 to2016 (BRAND: - Vero Moda, Vila, Pieces)

Job Profile:

. To develop samples as per sample specifications and brand

requirements.

. Total responsibilities of SMS (fabric,accesaries,stitching finishing

)&sent on time .

. To work on Fabric averages, trims,acc,making time etc for calculating

costing.

. To work on costing and negotiate orders with the buyers and buying

agents.

. To ensure proper communication between buyers/buying agents for

prices, deliveries and approvals(fabric quality, colours,trims,prints

& samples ) for production .

. To work with team of merchants/designers for the clients and to

present it in professional approach.

. Technical support in caring out the garment process.

. To sent fit sample,pp sample,size set, shipment sample on time .

. Get fabric & raw material order form verified & approved by the

Manager Merchandiser respectively.

. Ensure weekly recap on the status with the dept Purchase & PPC

. To follow up with Inter dept,to ensure the timely production &

sampling with right quality.

. Other merchandising responsibilities includes sampling co-ordination,

style fittings, make a product in lower cost, production files,

seasonal product planning (TNA) and sampling, advices Fabric print,design,Vendor sourcing,Vendor management,sampling planning,

. Keep good coordination with sampling and production department.

. Having good knowledge of Designing,style construction &fitting,

stitching, manual & computer embroideries, beads and sequence work,

fabric qualities, fabric sourcing, fabric averages and printing,

fabric cutting, design placement under the fabric & garments.

Worked as Designer in B.L. International 2000 to 2003.

. Design collection for European fashion brands based on inspiration,

trend reports.

. Source new qualities, embroideries and samples for new collection.

Worked as Merchandiser in Radnik International 2003 to 2008

. Worked for Zara &Vero Moda.

. Developing new samples,excute samples order,costing .

. Review of samples for construction fall,fit drape and wash prior to

sending to Buryer Approval

. Sent samples for approval on time

. Check the fabrics, trims and embroideries before sample development.

. Keep approvals of colour,prints, & trims .

. Propose new fabrics, laces and embroideries to the buyers and design

teams.

. Attend buyer meetings and develop the products as per specification

given by the Buyers.
