uDeveloped sales strategies, business development plans and provided oversight to program management for contracts with Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Air Force Materiel Command, USAF, and Department of Defense.

uAggressively sought out opportunities and teaming to better position AT&T Government Solutions within the DOD sector resulting in closed sales of $2.5 M for CY ’07.

uWorked closely with local AT&T Government Solutions leadership to define National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) classified customer requirements and target company capabilities to better position AT&T for increased intelligence program wins. This effort resulted in $3.4 M in CY ’07.

uPersonally engaged Air Force leadership to dissuade the deobligation of contract funds affecting the AT&T Government Solutions Wiring Program. Successfully prevented contract termination and the return of funding that facilitated $1.0 M in closed sales for CY ’07.

uLed effort to establish winning teams to pursue three USAF opportunities scheduled for award mid-2008 that will result in $40.0 M + win for newly reorganized Midwest Operations Group.

uAggressively pursued support of legislation that changed capital gains laws, providing better support to military members who PCS frequently, and tax law that provides Reserve Component members reimbursement for out-of-pocket travel expenses to and from drill locations.

uWorked behind the scenes to ensure that Air Force officer promotions at all levels were not used as a political tool (this resulted in all military nomination holds being released in a timely manner to allow Air Force senior leadership reassignments as well as all other officer promotions).

uSingle-handedly led two successful short-notice international Congressional Delegations (CODELS) for three U.S. Senators to Central American countries, garnering numerous laudatory comments on attention to detail and quality of support.

uEstablished the Air Force as the “go to” service for Professional Staff Members of the Senate Armed Services Committee through improved travel logistics and escort support.

uRecognized by Air Force Intelligence community for significantly improving awareness by Armed Services Committee of the contributions made by the Air Force in support of the Global War on Terrorism.

uQuickly established as an integral member of the DeWine staff – Within the first week of fellowship navigated the legislative process to research and craft successful legislation, and coordinated by-partisan support in both houses of Congress as well as numerous private sector organizations.

uDrafted language (S. 540) for Senator DeWine’s introduction to restore the pre-1986 tax deductions for travel expenses to and from drill locations and provide for an employer tax credit for Reserve Component personnel (Guard and Reserve). Garnered the support of 61 co-sponsors, the Reserve Officers Association, The United States Chamber of Commerce, and the Military Coalition. Pass into law in 2003.

uServed as personal staff representative to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence – established positive relationships with a myriad of intelligence agencies working to ensure proper resource allocation for the Department of Defense and the National Air Intelligence Center.

uThwarted efforts to move missions from NAIC to other locations and delayed efforts to expend more than $100 million MilCon dollars on intelligence facilities without proper justification.
