Corporate location: Was hired under contract to assist in their ease into out-sourcing to various countries. I also worked with their artist at corporate to teach and approve their designs for wet printing. There are many technical issues other than artist designs to be considered and implemented as file ready to submit to a vendor for reproduction. All art pre-press had to approved by me before submission and all printers samples had to approved by me before going into full production.
My titled here was Production Manager
Retired December 30, 2004
Rothtec Engravers
New Bedford Ma and Charlotte, NC
Title Manager Technical Sales
Hired September 1992- December 1, 1999
This company was an engraver of rotary screens for textile printing. I developed new clients and called on existing one for the Charlotte, Mexico and New Bedford plants. Again I reviewed designs with clients, such as Croscill NYC, Ralph Lauren, many NYC designers and manufacturing of textiles to direct their designs for wet printing. I then approved all that my company pre-press submissions to be sent to client for their approval before screens were developed. This was usually digital pre-proofs. I enjoyed working for this company.

Consolidated Engravers 1979-1985
Charlotte NC
I represented this company for a new start-up gravure engraving plant. They were already engraving rotary screens and copper rolls for printing in the textile printing industry. They were well-known for their embossing abilities as well. I was technical sales for all their divisions and had three salesmen reporting to me. Technically I was hired to promote sales for their new gravure division, but sold and maintain clients for all their diverse endeavors.
I was the only woman in this industry, doing what I was doing until 1990.
Now that I have been retired since 2004, I find I would like to go back to work part time. I work well with people and I am a good manager. I think I would be successful in any type of job except accounting. I have much to offer.
