Program all machines using SMP sofware. Convert ACad drawings to flat layouts using bend deductions and or bend allowances. Mofify as needed for programming purposes. If drawings are done in SolidWorks, it generates its own flat which usually is ok to use for programming. Some may have to have slight modifications for programming. Also familiar with Draftsight and use this regularly for flat layouts. Understand how flat layouts work and understand bend deductions as well. Work closely with

engineers to achieve desired finished product according to drawing specifications.

Lay out and set up work area quickly and safely for Shear, Cincinatti Press Brake, Finn Power CNC Turret Punch, Amada CNC Turret Punch, Whitney Manual Duplicator, Manual Milling Machine.

Shear: Measured and cut metals to precision sizes according to prints. Used forklift to gather proper materials. Set shear backstops and front stops for cutting proper lengths and widths.

FinnPower 2520 CNC Turret Punch: Siemens 3N controller, set up and operated, ensured proper tooling and clearance dies were in correct stations according to set up sheets and metal thicknesses.

Amada CNC Turret Punch: Fanuc 3000 controller w/Tape reader, set up and operated according to set up sheets. Ensured proper tooling and clearance dies were in correct stations. Set up and changed index dies for punching particular angles.

Whitney Manual Duplicator: Located holes according to prints figuring bend deductions of flanges. Punched holes accordingly.

Cincinatti 175 Ton Press Brake: Set up and operated press brake to bend flanges and make parts acording to prints. Figured bend deductions for different metals of different thicknesses. Used proper radius dies accordingly to bend within .005 tolerances.

Manual Milling Machine: Set up and operated mill, located holes to be drilled and tapped for Killark aluminum electrical boxes. Laid out, drilled and tapped NPS or NPT according to prints.

Familiar with Tape Readers, and or DNC Software. Familiar with Merry Mechinization software,

able to use and program CNC Turret Punch Press.

Worked directly from blueprints, patterns and specifications using calipers and micrometers, tape measures and squares with scales to .001

Studied blueprints work instruction drawings and manuals to determine dimensions and tolerances.
