Major Project Assignment: CF’s new $2.2 billion Ammonia Plant (AM6), and a new Urea, UAN, and Nitric Acid plant (PRP3) at the existing CF Industries site in Donaldsonville, La. The new facilities will have the following production capacities: 3,300 TPD Ammonia, 3,500 TPD Urea, 4,400 TPD UAN, and 1,500 TPD Nitric Acid. Project Engineering for engineering and design of portions of the OSBL (Outside Battery Limits) processes required for this expansion. Major areas covered in this scope are Complex 4 Offsites 8,000 GPM raw water treatment through clarifier gravity filters, and clearwell, followed by 5,000 GPM demineralization system, 30,000 Ton Ammonia Tank D-600, 53,000 Ton UAN storage tank T-3 and two new side mixers for existing UAN tank T-1, AM6 Effluent Pond, two 113 TPH Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers, Offsites Switchgear / MCC Building, 2,000 GPM pH Neutralization System, 22,000 GPD Sewerage Treatment Plant, 6 mile long Unit Rail System, and 5,400 linear feet of offsites pipe racks.
