This was a multi-billion dollar, fully integrated steel production facility that manufactured the highest quality steel in the world. Hired in as a laborer in the steel melting operations, and gradually climbed to melting supervisor, with management responsibility of 70+ employees per shift.

Monitor and control slag consistency (Ph), maximize heat containment, and minimize furnace and ladle slag line refractory loss.

Managed alloy additions in EAF, LRF, and Tank Degass Unit.

Implemented scrap color identification program that maximized alloy recovery from inner mill generated scrap
