Duties:

-Assist with the food preparation operation in a school cafeteria.

-Provides breakfast, noon lunch preparation support. Serves as a a cooking, baking, or salads making specialist, reviews daily menus, calculates quantities of food to prepare, cooks, bakes, or prepare salads following sanitary food preparation guidelines, monitors and records temperatures during preparation, and checks food items for taste and appearance.

-Participates in cafeteria cleaning. Removes soiled dishes to dish room returns unserved food to kitchen, cleans up,the serving line, mops, sweeps, and operates the disaster, assists with other work necessary to restore kitchen, eating, and storage areas to sanitary standards.

-Serves the lunch to the students (more than 600) plus Staff.

-Assists with food supply storage. Puts up food and supplies on shelves and dates them,rotates stock as necessary, and identifies food and supplies to be ordered.

During my years in food service my accomplishments are as followed.

-I was one of the most productive workers at fort Bragg. My management saw how much of an asset I was that I was one of the very few employees chosen to work the summer shift.

- Because of my hard work and willingness to help others, I was taught all aspects of my job as well as other employees and management duties, in order to utilize me to the fullest.

- became a mentor to the other employees and was used to help train and ensure all other employees followed all safety and health guidelines.
