Shands at Lake Shore - Lake City, FL - April 2014 to November 2014 Responsibilities

Prepare O.R room by stocking and cleaning prior and post C-section. Stock all vaginal delivery tables, clean and stock baby beds. Take patient vitals every 4 hours, get patients showered and change bedding. Assist surgeons on all C-sections as well as all vaginal deliveries. Take all labs to the lab. Make all patient charts, enter all doctor orders into the computer, scan meds to pharmacy. Answer all incoming phone lines, answer patient call out phone, fax and copy documents., enter newborn information into HUGS security system. Used OB Traceview, Pulse and many other systems.

Accomplishments

So many new Moms left me wonderful letters and sent me photos of their new babies. I made sure it was the happiest day of their life.
