Duties include training personnel on first aid, fire control and confined space rescue operations. Ensuring all personnel licenses and certifications are current, scheduling any courses needed. Conducting behavior base training. Treating all injuries / illnesses and completing proper paperwork. Inspection of all firefighting equipment, life saving equipment, emergency and safety equipment. Ensuring compliance with all Federal, State Agencies, and US Coast Guard. Liaison between the corporate office and the rig. Order, maintain, and dispense of all medical and personnel protective equipment. Complete all accident /incident reports and assist with investigations. Help the OIM roll out all new policies and procedures. Helicopter landing officer duties. Perform weekly safety meeting, daily safety talks, and attend JSA (Job Safety Analysis).meetings.
