Red River Region Manager at Donan Engineering Co., Inc. July 2011 - Present (5 years 2 months)
Was asked to move to Texas to open a new region (largest geographically at that time) for the company, which included Texas and Oklahoma. This region contains the headquarters for some of our largest competitors in our industry. Opened 5 new offices in one year, while continuing to do billable work. Region became profitable in less than 2 years. Staff went from 2 to 19 professionals. Billed over 1300 hours in one year while maintaining a profitable region. Business development of new offices, hiring and training of staff for offices, execution of clients projects, and management of all aspects of the region. Was promoted from office manager to regional manager. Continued growth of an established region, increased productivity and capacity of staff, increased profitability, and maintained company metrics while opening new offices outside of the region. Opened offices for other regional managers to aid the company's expanding footprint. Extensive travel and client interactions as well as staffing those new offices. Staffing included interviewing, hiring, and training of outside candidates. After office was up and running, then turned over to the existing regional manager.
