Coordinate and provide assistance remote to a new built Team daily basis, follow up and to implement procedures. Report exposure and p&L's to management. The main duties involve:

Creating all documents required to start operations as concentrate abroad Switzerland.

Know How transfer to a new Team and daily support.

Ensure Hedge operations are properly done, and registered.

Work with L/C's and make sure documents are produced accordingly.

Close contact and negotiation with suppliers and customers.

Coordinate transport, multimodal, and insurance when required. 10-2013 – 09-2015 – Glencore International AG Baar-Switzerland Traffic Team Member – Concentrates.

Ensure the smooth flow of daily business maintaining close contact with buyers, sellers producers, consumer, trader, shipping company, insurance company, government and embassies, customs, professional bodies, lawyers, agents, banks. The main duties involve:

Co-ordination of delivery between suppliers, Chartering and receivers (direct or through field offices).

Anticipating discussions with cargo operators/forwarding/documentary execution team for all related with cargo availability at intend load port, anticipate and wave potential inconveniences at intend load port if any, keep parties involved duly updated on port line up, discuss loading program based in cargo commercial decisions versus port line ups and documentary restrictions, define a game plan.

Checking and discussing proactively commercial aspects related with cargo contract sell/purchase.

Check and understand freight traders commercial plan based on futures and long/short position for voyages or bunkers and keep traders posted of any omission or discrepancies.

Issue freight invoices, pay hires and decide if any deduction to be applied due vessel’s performance based on weather routing and performance, after discussions with traders.

Make sure bunkers on redelivery versus contract price is as per traders estimates.

Verify lay times are agreed and cashed timely.

On finalization Stage, check PFHS with charterer if TC relet or owners.

Follow up for FFA and Bunker Swaps to ensure the position was correctly accounted in New Edge. Ship Operations

Pre fixing stage: Clear/vetting the vessel.

Assist the traders to determine port charges, bunker costs, other relevant operational data.

Upon reception of fixture recap, prepare/issue instructions to master, arrange vessel’s/bunker’s survey if required.

Appoint weather routing/monitoring service.

Verify master’s cargo intake is consistent with contract figures.

Nominate agents at load/discharge in due course.

Make sure documents will be ready at the time of vessel arrives at disport and inform freight traders in case of any potential delay at disport.

Discuss with freight traders previous redelivery notices if any option to extend the contract.

Make provisional laytime calculations while voyage is not yet completed, and keep traders informed. Coordination and System data input

Ensure the correct and timely input data is into the Trading System.

Have the proper information into the electronic Operators File.

Enter and update vessel movements, events, ETA’s ETC’s

Enter and update details of costs for services.
