Communication

I would just like to communicate a few accomplishments that may be relevant to the position for which I am applying and they are as follows:

I took the Certified Patient Access Technologist examination and I passed all three sections the first time and scored above 95 on all sections.

My letter about one of our volunteers at the hospital was published in one of the hospital’s publications. It was a good vehicle for her to be recognized for her outstanding care and service.

I noticed there was a knowledge gap in our office for Excel skills. Working through internal free sources, I created an Excel training program for myself and my colleagues.

I have always taken the initiative to use the provided free webinars to educate myself further.

I was a resource for colleagues throughout the country on a Process Standard I created for the recording and recognition of in-kind-gifts.

In all of my Progress Evaluations I met standards and, in many cases, exceeded standards. One being, when I see an error or inefficiency in a process, I would offer several options to resolve the issue and implement a plan or process to ensure there is not another error. Another area I exceeded in was humility in taking personal accountability for the good and bad, I had innovation and valued the overall organization’s performance. I demonstrated respectful behavior and was respected by the team and organization leaders. I also exceeded in taking the initiative, on my own time, to learn and expand my knowledge to master my craft.

I was the first Database Coordinator to have our aged accounts over 90 to 180 days down to zero.
