SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Emergency Department Multifunctional Technician/Patient Care Extender: Management of patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse, taking vital signs, EKGs, drawing blood, assist ED physicians and nurses with procedures, transporting to radiology and to the floors/ICU. Entering physician orders, managing multiple incoming phone lines, and contacting on-call physicians.

Emergency Department Administrative Assistant: Entering daily charges for all patients seen in the ED (emergency department), correct any charge errors where needed, and review ED charts for completion of physician notes and nursing notes, ordering office supplies, ordering physician products, completing monthly Quality Control logs, complete payroll, calendar scheduling, travel scheduling, help coordinate special events (Talladega, Barber Motor Sports, etc). Assist the ED Director with the daily operations of the ED to make sure the department runs smoothly.

Practice Coordinator: Reviewing physician documentation for deficiencies, review billing to make sure bills match documentation, ordering office supplies, managing multiple incoming phone lines, completing monthly Discharge report, help coordinate the daily running of the office.
