Projects Operations Manager:
Responsible for managing all Project/Packaging processes and deadlines
Projects are performed to meet gaps in production created by the plant in order to meet customer demand. Project types included but not limited to:
oRepacking – We performed multiple types of repackaging (Examples: small bags to smalls bags, box to bags, bags to box, super sack to bags, super sacks to box, re-stencil, metal bins)
oInspections on product to determine quality levels prior to allocation and shipping (examples - moisture, massing, talc levels, uniformity)
oBox flipping – During the production of amorphous product we use pallet inverter to flip each box to allow product to settle evenly. During my tenure box run grew from 18 million to 35 million pounds.
Responsible for tracking revenue, expenses, labor, and forecasting
Zero reportable or lost time accidents (Dec 2013 – present)
Accurately document time and attendance and address any issues that don’t meet company standards
Work with local Work Release program and employ many inmates with 3 years or less on their sentence. Communicate with the Warden on any behavior problems.
