Project: DHHS – Community Health Internet Explorer 11 Upgrade will upgrade the current internet browser on State of Michigan (SOM) computers used by DHHS – Community Health. The project objectives are:
Responsibilities:
Identify all workstations to be upgraded in use by DHHS – Community Health.
Identify and document currently supported DHHS – Community Health browser based applications and prepare application test plans.
Test and remediate (if required) all browser based DHHS – Community Health applications currently supported by an older Internet Explorer browser version (e.g. IE8, IE9, IE10) to Internet Explorer version 11.
Identify DHHS – Community Health browser based applications that cannot be remediated to function correctly with Internet Explorer version 11 and determine an action plan.
Final certification that DHHS – Community Health browser based applications are functioning satisfactorily with Internet Explorer 11.
Upgrade current browser to Internet Explorer 11 for all approved DHHS – Community Health workstations.

Project: The SACWIS solution will replace the legacy Services Worker Support System (SWSS) developed in the year 2000 and includes the design, development and implementation of a comprehensive Case Management System to assist the State’s Department of Health and Human Services child welfare caseworkers. The MI SACWIS System is being developed using JAVA and an Oracle database.
Responsibilities:
Participated in the Detail Design Sessions where the Use Cases were discussed in detail and models of the Screens were developed according to the State of Michigan standards and information gathered from the business users
Reviewed and finalized the Use Case and Screen Specification documents based on the business rules and sign-off requirements
Verified the functionality, integration, system, regression and overall testing of the entire System, including reports associated with the system
Performed manual testing on critical functionality of the application
Used Rational Quality Manager to write test cases, analyze the results, track defects, and generate reports
