Leading Cisco Community Relations volunteer engagement initiatives in the Metro Atlanta region, I am responsible for ensuring that Cisco employees are actively engaged in the local community to promote partnerships with local nonprofits, improve the quality of life, and help position Cisco as a strategic business partner and aggregator for community issues; as well as positioning Cisco volunteers as community leaders. I manage the LWR Civic Council, a group of 20 volunteer members considered to be Ambassadors between the 1500 employees on the LWR campus and the surrounding community. Under my lead the LWR Civic Council won Cisco’s FY12 Civic Council of the Year (in the US) and the LWR Campus produced Cisco’s FY12 Volunteer of the Year (in the US). Budget Management – managed four different budgets through the CR position, Programs Budget, ECE Budget, BU Budget for CR, and Foundation Budget assigned to Lawrenceville campus including invoice processing for $120K - $200K and grant management for grants totaling approximately $600K-$1M, per year.

Budget Forecasting – Forecasting budget requirements for three of the four budgets to maintain the level of engagement on the Lawrenceville Campus, as well as our depth of support within the community.

Metrics and ROI Analysis – Analyzed and extracted metrics for Lawrenceville Campus for Volunteer Hours and Giving, using raw data to determine participation rates, campaign metrics, quarterly/yearly metrics, and then converted to presentations for Executive management on the LWR campus, as well as within my own team.

Program Management/Project Management – Employee volunteer events to engage employees on the LWR site with the top participation rate in the World over the last two years one of which, I was managing two positions during the last year and still able to keep LWR’s participation rate at number one in the World.

Communications and Engagement with Employees, Executives and External Customers – I have had the privilege to engage with the executives on the LWR campus, as well as visiting executives from San Jose, and other sites. I am comfortable having a conversation with all levels of employees, I am able to influence through communications, whether it be Campus-wide communications, presentations to executives showing the results of the data-analysis for various metrics, or attending a community-driven civic infrastructure meeting. I have developed deep relationships with internal and external customers of the Community Relations group on the LWR campus.
