- As leader of QRQC team we reduced the monthly scrap from $122,874 USD to $53,212 USD, TPPM from 1823 to 132, RPPM from 372 to 15, IPPM from 3764 to 2694 & QN’s from 24 to 5.
Proactive continues improvement project: With a team of 2 coworkers, we invented, patented and implemented a
“Revolver Guide” (tool, fixture and Poka-Yoke that reduced machinery, work time, space, ensure the sequence of the process, and is ergonomic).
Warranty’s Engineer Valeo Wiper Systems
May 2012 – Jan 2014
I was in charge of receiving warranty claims to analyze them and confirm the failure mode. Once confirmed, I tried to discover the root cause of the failure and report the results to clients. For each new failure mode, initiated a format called "Quick Response" which specifies what happened in each guarantee and what steps were taken to stop the fault while the root cause of the problem was solved.
Reduced backlog of over 700 pieces to 0 at the end of the year, and have maintained it at 0 pieces (5S’s methodology was key to accomplish this goal).
I standardized Customer Failure Mode and Valeo Failure Mode for every claim. Obtained and created a Pareto Chart for the warranty cost.
Apply 8D’s, 5W2H, PDCA, FTA, 5 Why’s, 5S’s.
Manufactory Specialist Engineer VS Precision
Jan 2010 – May 2012
I was in charge of programming PLC using RS Logix, S7, Fanuc Master, Panel View and control design, create operation and repair manuals as well as diagram drawing, repairing, manufacturing and restoring machinery using recycled material from new and outdated machines.
I have experience repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as electrical installations.
Built a machine that would cut steel bars 12 to 16ft long, programmed with PLC MicroLogix 1500. The station would load, feed, cut and select specific pieces using a slide with Poka-Yoke.
Restored a hydraulic straightened (bar press) using PLC AB 5/03 and Panel View 500
Created a Tandem Gun Drill station applying control strategies for a servomotor using Ultra 3000.
