Prepared, fabricated and inspected bond assembly and details. Lay up graphite and tape material onto pylon tool using the Vertek Laser. After lay-up, bag for autoclave, de-bag after autoclave run the de-tool when complete. Clean and release tool for next lay-up, adding peel-ply in putting tool back together for lay-up. Special Project – JSF: Prepared tools for lay-up using a chemical solution and releasing agent, this allowed the part to release easily from the tool and prevent sticking. Prepared bag on the tool to de-bulk the ply to be laid then set the laser up for the lay-up by calibrating the tool to the laser. Check each ply orientation by the specification of the blueprint. Lay-up bond and bag for autoclave, check for leaks then forward to autoclave for cure.
