WORK EXPERIENCE

Metro Machine – CNC Programmer (Nov 2015 to June 2016) – Responsible for programming parts using Edgecam software on Milltronics and Haas machines.

Specialty Tool and Eng. – CNC Machinist (April 2015 to Present) – Responsible for setting up, running and editing CNC programs for high tolerance, short production run parts and fixtures. Machines operated: Mori Seiki vertical and 5-axis mills, Haas, Enshu, Makino vertical and horizontal machining centers, Matsuura vertical and 5-axis mills, and Mori Seiki CNC lathes.

R&M Manufacturing - 1nd Shift CNC Machinist/Programmer (Feb 2013 to April 2015) – Responsible for programming parts w/ Mastercam, setting up, and operating for Mazak and Haas vertical machining centers. This included designing and building of fixtures for said machines.

Continental Engineering - CNC Horizontal Machinist Supervisor (Jan 2011 to Feb 2013) – Responsible for writing/editing programs w/Mastercam, setting up, and operating 2 Mazak 650 horizontal machining centers. This included designing and building of fixtures for said machines. Also set up and ran 2 Daewoo vertical pallet changers. Supervised operators.

MTS System Incorporated - A-77 CNC Machinist. (Sep 2009 to May 2012) –Responsible for writing/editing programs, setting up, and operating Makino A-77 horizontal machining centers. Also fixed and modified fixtures, did work on manual mills and lathes.

Custom Fab Solutions - Floater (Feb 2004 to Sep 2009) – Responsible for setting up, editing and adjusting programs for Komo and Mazak vertical and horizontal machining centers, did programming with Virtual Gibbs. Also ran manual Strippit, press brake, shear, Kaltenbach automatic and manual cold saws, and manual mills and lathes. Worked in both plastic and metal welding departments. Researched and ordered tooling for all load centers in shop and gaging for inspection.

DHY- Foreman/Tech Support. (June 2001 to Feb 2004) – Responsible for setting up, editing and adjusting programs to run high tolerance aerospace parts, also responsible for fixing and adjusting problems with production machines for operators on Makino A-66 and A-77, Matsuura horizontal machining centers, Kitamura and Matsuura vertical machining centers, Citizen and Nakamura lathes, and IMAS transfer machine . Assign operators to run machines, entering time tickets and scrap into database, monitoring their performance, writing reviews, initiating disciplinary action and overall shift efficiency. Also was a member of the ECO (Engineering Change Order) team, reviewing and recommending process improvements. Ran QA Department for shift, setting up and running programs for Brown and Sharpe and Cordax CMMs.

Continental Machines - Production Machinist (Jan 2000 to May 2001) –. Responsible for manufacturing parts on a Bridgeport VMC-20, Cincinnati T-10 horizontal machining center, Okuma MCM-B 5-access pallet-changer (pallets were 8 ft. x 12 ft.), Bridge mill. Perform all setups, program editing, changing tools, cleaning, deburring and inspection.

Specialty Tool and Eng. - Class “A” CNC Machinist (May 1999 to Jan 2000) – Responsible for setting up, running and editing CNC programs for prototype parts, mold cavities and short production runs, also responsible for making fixtures and special tooling for running of prototype parts. Machines operated: Mori Seiki, Haas, Enshu, Makino vertical and horizontal machining centers, Matsuura vertical mill and Mori Seiki CNC lathes.

Continental Hydraulics – Production Machinist (Mar 1998 to May 1999) - Responsible for a Mazak 580 with palletech, performing all setups, program editing, changing tools, cleaning, deburring and inspection.

FSI International – Floater (July 1994 to Mar 1998) - Machined plastic and metal components for use in semiconductor industry. Ran mills, lathes, CNC Tree mill and cold saws, also programmed CNC punch press, including all setups and sharpening of punches. Set up and operated press brake, shear and single station punch press. Worked in plastic and metal welding departments. Performed own inspections.
