During this time Nike grew from a small company to an international #1 sports brand company. Nike signed Michael Jordan, acquired Cole Haan, the slogan “Just Do It” is born, the first Niketown Outlet is opened, Tiger Woods is signed, Converse is acquired and the marketing direction transitions from sponsoring teams to full blown intergraded advertising campaigns.

Regional Field Manager (1996 – 2006)

The main focus of this position was to identify potential high profile athletes to represent the brand and contract with them while maintaining a high level of service to solidify the relationships.

Negotiated footwear and endorsement contracts with 150+ NFL players, agents and college athletic directors to wear product on field, with deals ranging from $3k in merchandise to $100k annually.

Analyzed marketplace and predicted potential key players, targeting top 10 to wear product.

Wrote trip reports providing feedback from personnel wearing and using Nike apparel and footwear for the product group and sports marketing team to ensure future positive changes to the line.

Provided product expertise to clients (athletes and teams) by delivering presentations about the apparel and footwear lines in order to support product initiatives and the brand.

Coordinated events including Super Bowl hospitality suite and party, Pro Bowl hospitality suite and party, Coaches Trips and Equipment Manager Meetings to expand the brand to our clients.
