Regional Technical Manager, Quality Control Manager

Fulfills a critical role overseeing engineering, quality, and maintenance functions across two facilities of this $7.7B packaging corporation, with accountability for an annual budget in excess of $1M. Served in a dual role as Regional Technical Manager and Quality Control Manager.

As Regional Technical Manager, pioneered the launch of a preventative maintenance program that maximized the uptime of all production lines, while introducing a program that substantially reduced the set-up time for extrusion and bag line operations. Maintains accountability for the hire, training, and management of a team of 12 maintenance and quality professionals.

Designated as the Product Line Quality Manager for PriorityPak in 2007, and for Jiffylite Mailers in 2010; assumed a lead role issuing a new quality specification manual for Jiffylite Mailers nationwide, and for securing SFI certification for all facilities producing Jiffylite Mailers.

As Quality Control Manager, ensures compliance by all production processes with quality standards, documenting all deviations and building recommendations for corrective action to management. Enforces compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Coordinates and lead quality assurance training for employees, while building programs to motivate the integration of QA processes into all facets of operations.

Developed and deployed procedures to govern all departments to maintain ISO 9001:2000 compliance.
