Project Description

City Online provides SIP based Voice Over Internet Protocol(VOIP) solution to Call Centers, Corporates and Residential Apartments.

Role: Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

Involved in entire SDLC cycle – Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Post Implementation and Production Support

Policy Master Record (PMR) Update is one of the many applications that are part of State Farm Auto Systems.

Responsibilities

Worked in a team of 25 business analysts and took charge of all the offshore responsibilities, Business meetings and was the primary point of contact for all Business SME’s and actuaries.

Hosted and facilitated multiple all day workshops to brainstorm and define the requirements.

Worked with the management team to create product backlog which is a backbone to agile methodology.

Prepared business process models, which includes modeling of all activities of the business from conceptual to procedural level.

Claims to Haplex DB Migration Project is to migrate the IMS Database which holds the claims information specific to each office to DB2 Database in Haplex environment which can hold different offices data in one DB Server. Having access to claims from different offices helps to track the claim history related to customer in other states. One of the module for this project is to develop Web Services that retrieves the claims information with different inputs like policy number, client ID, Deleted claims, Active claims, claim count etc. and validate the input passed.

Performing Source System Analysis. Analyzing the Source and Target Data elements. Develop Mapping document and Unit & System Test Plans.

This application (HHS) has got many online screens, which are widely accessed by agents and customer representatives. These Screens display various information about Policies, Clients, Accidents & Violations, etc. that are crucial to day-to-day business activities. Operation centers invoke House Hold screens on an average of 70 million times per month company wide, which comprise of 80% of monthly transactions.
