• When I started at this company (it's now closed), I was promoted after about two weeks from a gift basket assembler and food prep assistant to the supervisor in their wine and gift shop and head server/bartender in their bar and grill.

• I helped train servers. I was a lead server and I received extensive sommelier training - we had a monthly wine tasting and education class. I hosted, helped with food preparation and cleanup/sanitation, prepared and decorated desserts for their dessert case, which was a focal point of their dining room. I assisted with on- and off-site caterings and corporate/private events. I was even asked by regular customers to their homes to assist in their personal catering events.
