2.Online Pizza Delivery System – Information Analysis & System Design

Pizza delivery store serves the sole purpose of delivering the pizzas for the people ordering on the phone or on the internet. The process begins with the potential customer ordering the pizza, the details of the customer such as, Name and address is captured by the employee taking the order. A customer can select the payment method as Cash/Credit/Cheque and start ordering the pizza. A customer can choose that base type of the pizza and the toppings he/she needs in it, then the total is confirmed and the order is placed. The next phase of the order is delivery, a delivery person is assigned to each order and his details are assigned to the order. The details include the name, vehicle type and the vehicle. After the pizza and the delivery address is handed to the delivery person, the status of the pizza is updated as in transit. Once it’s been delivered its updated as delivered, else if rejected by customer, the status is updated as returned.
