Promoted in 2011 to veterinary assistant, which includes care of hospitalized patients, phlebotomy and cystocentesis, surgical nursing, radiology (no digital), placing IV catheters, and medicating.

This was in conjunction with Kitten Rescue and Whisker To Tails Cat Hospital’s veterinarian to help coordinate the health status of patients at their sanctuary, who were under the care at Whiskers To Tails. This included blood draws, (for FeLV/FIV testing, chemistry panels) grooming, (clipping mats, bathing, nail trims, ear cleaning) and briefly examine for any obvious abnormalities.
