Hawkins Gas Plant - NRU, ExxonMobil Production. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase which included an addition of an amine unit, fractionation, a NRU, an AGI unit and compression to an existing gas processing facility. Responsibilities included plant layout, piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, piping isometrics, pipe support details, and P&ID drafting.
Pinedale LGS North Facility, Shell Exploration and Production Company. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase of a green field water/gas separation facility. The facility includes two separators, a heater treater, pipeline charge pumps, three generators, a VRU, a reciprocating compressor and a TEG. Responsibilities included plant layout, piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, general arrangements, piping isometrics, pipe support details, and P&ID drafting. Additional responsibilities included CAD coordinator for the Denver Tech Center office which housed the three Shell projects: North Facility, Central Facility, and LGS Pipelines.
Climax Molybdenum Project, Freeport-McMoRan. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase which included an addition of a new milling facility. The milling facility contained a sag mill, a ball mill, six stages of flotation cells and a thickener. Responsibilities included piping design, equipment modeling, and P&ID drafting.
Gobblers Knob Compressor Station Project, Questar Gas Management. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase which included an addition of a new compressor, slug catchers and LP bullets. Responsibilities included piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, general arrangements, piping isometrics, pipe support details, and P&ID drafting.
Warbonnet Water Handling Facility Phase 1, South Mesa Section 14 Injection Facility Project, Shell Exploration and Production Company. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase which included a new water treating / separation facility, pipelines, and a new water injection facility. Responsibilities included piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, general arrangements, piping isometrics, pipe support details, and P&ID drafting.
McElmo Creek Compressor Addition, Aneth Field Tank Battery 20 Compressor Addition Project, Resolute Natural Resources. Piping designer for the detailed engineering phase which included an addition of a new compressor at each location. Responsibilities included piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, general arrangements, piping isometrics, pipe support details, checker and P&ID drafting and coordination.
Talco Project, ExxonMobil Company. Piping designer for the Pre FEED study and estimate for upstream WOG separation facilities. The project included seven battery limit sites, a central treating facility and a compression facility. Engineering and design developed to produce a 10% estimate. Responsibilities included development of equipment arrangements, plot plans, process flow diagrams and material take offs.
Hawkins Gas Plant, NRU Project, ExxonMobil Company, US Production Company. Piping designer for the Pre FEED study and estimate. The project included an addition of a 120 mscfd NRU, gas dehydration and treating, fractionation, LP and PM gas compression upgrade, Brownfield investigation and tie-in study to existing facility. Engineering and design developed to produce a 10% estimate. Responsibilities included plot plans, general arrangements, piping layouts and process flow diagrams.
Cotter Corporation, Milling Facility, Canon City, CO. Piping designer for the As-built phase of an existing uranium and vanadium milling facility. Responsibilities included P&ID As- builds for the ore feed, crushing and storage area, grinding and leaching area, CCD thickeners, SX building (extraction, stripping, precipitation and production) and tailing and reclaim area.
Suncor Odyssey Project, Suncor Energy. Piping designer from the DBM phase through detailed engineering. The project was a clean fuels revamp of an existing 60,000bbls per day refinery. Project included the addition of a new GOHDS, H2 and TGU plant. Revamp scope of work included upgrade of existing Asphalt/Sour Crude Unit, conversion of existing GOHDS to DHDS, upgrade of existing DHDS, and upgrade of plant utilities and tank farm. Responsibilities included piping design, equipment and structural modeling, piping plans, general arrangements, equipment orientation and elevations, piping isometrics, pipe support details, checker and P&ID drafting and coordination.
Brightwater Waste Water Treatment Facility, King County, WA. Mechanical designer for the preliminary design phase of a grassroots water treatment facility in Woodinville, WA. The project included the head works unit, grit removal, primary and ballasted sedimentation removal, sedimentation tanks, four anaerobic digesters, odor control unit, chemical storage and an on-site cogeneration power facility. Responsibilities included piping design, structural design, site and equipment layout, project design coordinating, 3D modeling, P&ID drafting, sections and elevations, plot plans, checker and 3D model review presentations.
Southaven Combined Cycle Power Facility, Cogentrix Energy, Southaven, MS. Piping designer for construction assistance of a grassroots combined cycle power facility. The project was an 810 MW gas-fired combined cycle power facility, which included three HRSGs, three gas turbine generators and three steam turbine generators. Responsibilities included assembling work packages that consisted of piping isometrics, a material take off, pipe support details and an instrument list for each individual line to ensure efficient constructability.
