Since December 2012 I have managed designed, implemented and managed regulatory and business compliance for Leaders Financial Company, an indirect automotive financing business. In addition to my Compliance responsibilities, I manage legal affairs for Leaders, for which I draft and manage auto dealer and vendor contracts and relationships, maintain books, records and minutes of the Corporation and manages outside legal counsel on litigation matters. Having lived in Washington during the nine years preceding my position at Leaders Financial, now having an opportunity to relocate near family, I seek the Healthcare Risk Manager position through Placement Valley.

Between 2004 and 2012 I practiced business law for numerous development-stage clients, facilitating complex business combinations and recapitalizations, negotiating business combination, financing, vendor, and employment contracts, and providing general corporate legal and governance services. For the majority of my clients, I’ve also provided business development solutions and strategic management advice. In each capacity, I drafted the requisite contracts, business plans, offering memoranda and disclosure documents. I have supervised as many as five junior associates in the aforementioned practice areas.

Between 2002 and 2004, I worked as a consultant with T-Mobile in the Lease Management department of the Parsippany, New Jersey corporate office, where I primarily drafted and negotiated lease amendments, managed the initial stages of communications with existing landlords involving potential legal conflicts, and assisted in developing strategies to manage the T-Mobile antenna leases.

Prior to entering and completing law school at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, I earned a Masters in Public Health Degree, concentrating in Health Policy and Management, at Columbia University School of Public Health.
