Provided management oversight for the day-to-day operations and proper functioning of the plant to include, Quality, Manufacturing, Distribution, Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, Sales, Environmental Health & Safety, HR and Purchasing. Performed all Project Management and Engineering for the facility.

Responsible for managing all aspects of operations for a Plastic Extrusion facility with a 200 person staff and annual Sales of over $60 million. Neuman Aluminum, El Paso, Texas Facility (December 1999 to Dec. 2002)

Directed the successful installation and start-up of a new, fully automated Impact Extrusion facility.

Provided engineering leadership in the identification and development of new automation equipment and processes to enhance the productivity, ergonomics and safety. Designed and fabricated in-house

automation equipment, specification development, design review and validation of purchased equipment.

Delegated/ performed all maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades on all mechanical,

Steris/ Isomedix Operations Inc. El Paso, Texas (January 1990 – December 1999)

(Contract Sterilization of Medical Equipment and Food Products)

Supervised, trained and assisted maintenance personnel. Responsible for installation, setup, monitoring, calibrating and preventative maintenance on all equipment used for the sterilization processing.

Assisted in the planning and design of modifications and overseeing of all new installations.
