Human Resources Manager – Began this position through Office team as a temporary consultant and taken on permanently for this Construction/Architectural firm with 200 employees. Came on board during Health Benefits Open Enrollment to get them through the process and have continued with completing and distributing the Employee Handbook, creating procedures for disciplinary and consoling of employees, auditing employee’s files and HR for compliance issues, including reclassification of exempt and non exempt employees. Insured Company compliance with ACA by working side by side with our Broker. Researched and meet with payroll providers to change them from QuickBooks to Paychex for an automated payroll and HRIS system.

February 2012 – December 2013 Technical Solutions, Mahwah, NJ

Human Resources Manager – Developed the Human Resources Department for this very fast growing telecommunications and HVAC Company. Forms, procedures for on boarding, handbook, writing polices and procedures, employee benefits administration and selection, PTO and Applicant tracking, pre-employment checks, handle all drivers checks, prevailing wage forms and calculations, the merging with two other companies that brought the staff from 88 employees to 200 in 4 states in 8 months. Working with Managers to educate them in the labor laws of their states and established employee relations.

During the renegotiate of the employee healthcare benefits, saved the Company $47K.

July 2010 – May 2011 Bollinger Insurance, Short Hills, NJ

Benefits Representative – I took this temporary position, when offered to me, as Bollinger had been my brokers while at Gordon Ramsay and were familiar with my work ethic. Hired to handle employee benefits, enrollments, terminations, claim problems and offering assistance to clients on benefits issues from Human Resources prospective for this Insurance Brokerage firm, while also helping them transition their office to paperless. This has allowed me to continue to work in one area of my field, while continuing to seek a position as a Human Resources Generalist, which is my passion.

October 2006 – March 2010 Gordon Ramsay NY at The London, New York, NY

Director of Human Resources – Development of the Human Resource function for renowned Chef Gordon Ramsay in his 2 Michelin Star Restaurant in the London NYC Hotel, including forms and policies to be used at US properties. Staffing of 250 unions and non-union employees, training of management staff on the IRW union contract and US labor laws. Managed the daily operation of the Human Resources Department including; recruiting, labor relations, employee benefits, PTO tracking, monthly union payments, visas and immigration issues, worker’s compensation, OSHA regulations, unemployment and prepared weekly payroll.

Saved the Company over $250K on their Worker’s Compensation and medical benefits, within the first year of operations. Implemented the use of E-Verify System for I-9 verifications.

May 2005 - June 2006 Crystal Springs Golf Resort, Hotel & Spa, Hamburg, New Jersey

Human Resources Consultant – Hired to bring the Human Resources function for sixteen companies including seven golf courses and hotel into compliance. Established procedures for benefits administration of medical, dental and 401K, recruiting, worker’s compensation, tracking system for PTO and holidays. Created HR/Payroll forms to be used by all companies within the organization, including an Employee Handbook. Implementation of a new 401K program, private temporary disability plan and health benefits plan. With the supervision of the Payroll administrator, developed

new procedures for payroll reporting, company wide Hire Packets, and the administration of recruiting portion of the company web site.

November 2001 - April 2005 Dessert Service, Inc., Totowa, New Jersey (aka Bindi)

Human Resources Manager – Established the Human Resources department in a fast growing manufacturer and distributor of frozen desserts with Branch Offices in several states. Implementation and development of the employee handbook, company policies and procedures, standards for drivers, Sales Managers Contract Agreements, compliance with required record keeping, i.e.; applications, I-9’s, developed forms to be used company wide for wage and position changes, vacations and FMLA leaves. Handled all recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, PTO tracking, FMLA, OSHA, Liability and Fleet insurances. Prepared the bi weekly payroll for the manufacturing plant and Branch Offices in multiply states. Administered Employee Attitude Surveys, 401K plan and developed a Supervisors Manual.

July 1998 - October 2001 Legends Resort & Country Club, Mc Afee, New Jersey

Human Resources Director – Reestablished the Human Resources department for the new management company of this 500 room full service hotel, which I was previously employed for 4 years under prior ownership, including the recruitment of 400 employees, policies and procedures, employee handbook, and job descriptions. Administered the daily operation of Human Resources, recruitment of exempt and non-exempt staff, wage and hour compliance, benefits administration, orientation, unemployment, disability, performance evaluations, worker’s compensation, OSHA regulations, supervisors training, counseling, staffing levels, employee relations and prepared bi-weekly payroll.

During the implementation of the Medical and Dental benefits enrollments, succeed in encouraging 85% of employees to participate, which gave the company the best possible premium.

July 1997 - July 1998 Andover Sub Acute and Rehab Center, Andover, New Jersey

Director of Personnel – Personnel function in a Nursing facility of 700 employees, including recruitment, wage, salary, benefits administration, reference checks, state licenses, advertising, employee relations, employee recognition programs, administration of updating polices and procedures, and supervising a staff of two.
