Accounts Payable: Data entry of invoices matched to work order and payment details into Accounting/Accounts Payable system. Reconciliation of GL and AP monthly reports, general ledger journal entry and running aging reports for companies. Letter writing to customers and vendors.

Payroll: Payroll lead responsible for data input of time entry for 80 separate companies averaging 2-395 employees per company. Client relations with each company to ensure proper communication and high client relationship. Complying and filing payroll taxes for daily, bi-weekly, & monthly depositors through EFTPS. Filing required Quarterly 941 reports along with state withholding, 940 FUTA and SUTA for each company including filing with Texas Workforce for companies incorporated in Texas. Filing employee enrollment paperwork with government agencies. Reporting correct SOC code for each employee for LA Unemployment reporting of wages.

Bookkeeper: Performing General ledger, Profit & Loss, & Income Statements for bookkeeping clients. Filing initial documents to all government agencies to open a company. Preparation of W-2 and 1099’s including submission to Social Security Administration. Preparation of State/Parish Sales Tax with continuing to update with new laws that have been implemented beginning 2016. Reviewing & instructing on new tax laws with Wildlife & Fishers on commercial fishermen, BP funds received & energy credits and taxes. Reconciliation of bank and financial statements.

Human Resources: Recruiting new associates for each tax season over 15 years. Maintaining employee relations and client privacy along with reviewing work hours for 5 offices to insure maximum productivity. Enrolling employees into the company and instructing the Circular 230 code of ethics set forth by Internal Revenue. Assisting in registration of employees and PTIN requirements.

Sr. Tax /Accounting Associate: Federal / State tax preparation for individuals, C-Corporation 1120, S-Corporation 1120-S with attached schedules, Non-Profit 990, 990ez & Post Card with attached schedules.
